I studied math and got a PhD in computer science (when it finally started being taught) in Switzerland. I spent my working career in IBM Research in Switzerland, the US and Australia.

Photography started with native orchid photography in the wild and the random travel photos. My other hobby was designing and making mechanical puzzles. This website contains a select portfolio of these activities.
